I moved to LA last August. I have had consistent work and have gotten to work on some pretty fun things. I have been in a permalance role for the last 3 months and today the boss talked to me about coming on full-time. I have health insurance through my wife's work, have more freedom because in theory I can take off whenever I want, and will make more money by staying freelance.
I have been reading Joey Korenman's Freelance Manifesto and honestly a lot of it was hitting home-- so I guess I am asking--
What, if any, are the perks of going staff?
