When I make them for my self, they’re quick, rough, and done on scraps of paper or post-its. And that works for me.
But when you’re making them in house (not for clients, but your crew), how good should they look?
I always hear, “make them rough so you can throw them away”, but the boards I often see are way more polished. Are those just presentation boards for clients’ eyes, while the actual boards really rough?
I’d like to start including some boards and other pre-production work in my portfolio, but just don’t know what level of polish to make them.
