I couldn't find a topic on this on here - so if it's been discussed i'll take the slap on the wrist.
I am hilariously confused about the benefits I hear about an s-corp over an LLC. For someone who hasn't the best understanding of these kind of things - can someone who has an s-corp explain what the benefit is over an LLC? I hear about tax savings that sound a little shade. I have talked to an accountant that I'm not 100% is doing trustworthy work. He probably is, but I have my doubts. So I would love to hear what people on here do and their understanding of why they chose an s-corp.
As a fella entering freelance for the first time ever - the help will be very appreciated.
