I've been working 4 years as a Motion Designer (You can see my reel here: https://vimeo.com/217823469 ) but I've started to sense that "You can do better feeling" over the past weeks.
A few years ago I was thinking about doing an Master of Fine Arts in Motion Media Design at SCAD (Savannah) and my plan was learn a lot from people like Austin Shaw (author of the Design for Motion book), make new friend/potential future partners and have an internship in some big studio and learn from the best. Sounds cool, uh?
I ignored that idea because I started to work as a fulltime freelance here in Bogotá, Colombia. So, I became super focused into having new projects, creating healthy relationship with clients and getting the job done.
Recently saw the "Motion makes a masochist" ( https://vimeo.com/220034891 ) and as I said before, I started to hear that voice who wants to kick my ass off from the Comfort Zone that im living. But, that decission involves getting away from you love-ones, having a big loan, and the inminent fear of failure. Im sure you have feel that.
Have you been in the middle of that decission?
