and got curious about what is the norm for internships around the world.
I live in Brazil and technically it is illegal to hire an intern and don't pay him/her. Though I know some professions don't usually pay their interns ( like lawyers (!) and veterinarians) here in BR, never heard of a design intern not getting paid (you may get the minimum wage, but you get something). This idea just feels totally unethical and absurd to me. But I know in many other countries this practice is very common.
What do you think about it?
